Spotted shore bird

Spotted this spotted shore bird in the Irvin Creek, Fergus.
Does any one have an ID for me?

Could this be a "Solitary Sandpiper"?
Can anyone confirm the ID please?

Yes, Lori, this is a Solitary. It's quite difficult to see the eye-ring (one of the key features of this species) because of the lighting, but it's there. The white-dotted wings and back, and the greenish-yellow legs are also good features.
