Any help will be appreciated.

1. The entire track was about 10-15 meters.

2. Probably unrelated are these, with size comparable to prints of eastern cottontail or squirrels. Neither has claws?

Lack of other visible life is depressing, I'm shooting out of desperation.

My guess by the footprints is a racoon Debbie...and the dragging would be from its tail. I just woke up to one eating below our backyard bird feeder just now...it was here a week ago as well.
Love those frost images...nicely composed and making for neat abstracts...keep "shooting out of desperation" as they work! :D
Have a wonderful Christmas!

I agree that #2 is a racoon, I wouldn' t want to speculate on #1 though, not without being able to see the pad-prints in more detail.

HI Karen and Peter, many thanks. Probably our bunny eatery has unintended customers. Jon and I will keep our eyes out. Debbie
