Hummingbird clearwing

Seen at the Royal Botanical garden yesterday. This cute moth pretending to be a hummingbird is also one of the few species of clearwings around. In my mother tongue, these moths are nicknamed "flying shrimps".

This is a fantastic photo Debbie, crystal clear, bright colours, the bit of pollen bottom of the antennae & above the eye; I love the slight blur of the wings giving the indication of flight. Wonderful shot!! Thank you.
